Based in Erbil, with offices in Sulimaniah, Baghdad and Basra, Sorrell General Trading & Contracting Company (SGTC) was started in 2008 with the idea of fulfilling a relatively niche market by providing professional grade procurement services for the US Military and US Government contracting firms that work in Iraq, while still allowing them to utilize a local company and support Iraqi business. SGTC prides itself in working in Iraq and succeeding in spite of the current dangers inherent with working in this field. Since our founding members entered into the field in 2004 we have safely procured and delivered millions of dollars in supplies and equipment to military installations throughout Iraq.

With the pullout in 2012 of the US military, Iraq is now taking its first steps on it’s own back to stability and prosperity. And Sorrell is still here helping the process along in our own way, by assisting many of the corporate & govt entities that are working to make it happen. SGTC has a lean, focused, time tested network of local & international suppliers that help us to offer quick, accurate, no nonsense quotations in a hurry. SGTC provides procurement, labor, services, consulting, design, construction, fresh fruits and vegetable delivery with importing over 120 different types that can not be found locally and so much more.
